1. Digital Product — Immediate Delivery

RoboCallMeNot is a digital software product. Upon successful payment, your license key is delivered electronically and the product is immediately accessible. By completing your purchase you expressly request and consent to immediate performance of the digital service.

2. All Sales Final — No Refunds

All purchases are final. Because RoboCallMeNot is a digital product that is delivered and accessible immediately upon purchase, no refunds, returns, credits, or exchanges are offered under any circumstances, except as required by applicable law (see §3 below).

3. Statutory Exceptions

EU / EEA consumers: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content contracts. However, by ticking the consent checkbox and completing purchase, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived once the download or access has begun, pursuant to Article 16(m) of that Directive.

California residents: Under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17538 certain disclosures are required for internet transactions. This notice serves as that disclosure. Refunds remain unavailable for digital products already accessed.

4. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting support constitutes a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to permanently revoke your license key and pursue recovery of costs associated with the dispute.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.

6. License Scope

Your license is personal, non-transferable, and covers one user across their own devices. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of license keys is prohibited.

Our commitment

RoboCallMeNot is designed from the ground up to protect your privacy. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. This policy explains exactly what happens — and what doesn't happen — with your information.

1. Data we do NOT collect

RoboCallMeNot does not collect, receive, or have access to any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• The phone numbers you report
• Your report history or notes
• Your location, IP address, or device identifiers
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Cookies or tracking pixels

2. Where your data lives

All data you enter into RoboCallMeNot — phone numbers, call types, notes, and report history — is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device through this app.

3. Encryption

Your data is encrypted before being written to device storage using AES-256-GCM, the same standard used by password managers and financial applications. Encryption is performed using your password via PBKDF2 key derivation (200,000 iterations). Your password is never stored in plain text — only a SHA-256 hash is retained.

4. License validation

When you activate a license key, the app performs a format check locally (no network call). If server-side validation is enabled by the developer, your license key — and only your license key — may be sent to a validation server to confirm it is genuine and has not been revoked. No other personal information is transmitted in this request. The validation server does not log your IP address in association with your key beyond what is required for fraud prevention.

5. Third-party portals

When you tap "Submit on official site," RoboCallMeNot opens the FTC, FCC, or FBI/IC3 portal in your browser. Those websites are operated by the U.S. government and have their own privacy policies. RoboCallMeNot has no control over and is not responsible for data you submit directly to those agencies.

6. Payment processing

Purchases are handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Gumroad). RoboCallMeNot never sees or stores your payment card details. Please review your payment processor's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

7. Children's privacy

RoboCallMeNot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
